Gacutil /i “c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft WebMatrix\” From an elevated prompt, run the commands: Workaround Most tasks in WebMatrix 1.0 do not require administrative permission. You are using Microsoft Windows XP or Microsoft Windows Server 2003. Mklink “c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft WebMatrix\”ģ. On Windows Vista or Windows 7, you are logged in with an account that does not have administrative privileges and User Account Control (UAC) is disabled. Mklink “c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft WebMatrix\” This approach has the advantage of not doing an actual copy of the assemblies: I am finding that in order to use Webmatrix and implement projects such as Wordpress, all associated software MUST be 64 bit. On Microsoft Windows Vista or higher, create a symlink to the assemblies in the “bin” directory. By default, WebMatrix gets installed in the “Microsoft WebMatrix” folder under program files.Ģ. Copy the “” and “” assemblies from the WebMatrix installation location to the “bin” directory of the WCF application. When i run the webmatrix errors happened, here is the log below. Though it they are not saying whether they’re going to fix itġ.
#Microsoft webmatrix windows vista install
Looks like developers are aware of that issue: To install WebMatrix, you will need to fulfill the following requirements: Windows 7, Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista Service Pack 2, Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Server, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016 Microsoft. I could of turned fusion logging on and determined where it was trying to find the assemblies (probably the GAC /) and moved them there instead, but I wanted a solution that was only targeted to this web application, not globally… Anyone know a better fix?
#Microsoft webmatrix windows vista windows 10
I simply copied all of the Microsoft.* assemblies from here into the bin directory of the web application that I was hosting in Web Matrix… and bam, no more error ? Nice solution? No… /a/ solution? yes! ? Esse software pode ser chamado de 'Microsoft WebMatrix'. So now that I have the assemblies, I can at least fix the problem temporarily. This tells me that WebMatrix has a new version of the assemblies that it’s using… so where are they? Well, turns out they live within the WebMatrix installation folder (program files (x86)\Microsoft Web Matrix). I did some checking around, and found in the directory of WebMatrix, it’s /config directory had an application configuration file with a binding redirect from 7.0.0.0 to 7.9.* (or something to that nature).
I kept getting this error when using the new WebMatrix platform to host my web applications.
